i ordered this backpack for myself to use while riding. I received the backpack in only a few days which was cool. However, when I took the backpack out and tried to put my helmet in to make sure it fit the strap broke right off. Luckily I tested the backpack first, otherwise my $600 helmet may have fell out while riding. Other than not being able to use the bag and having to go through the return process I wasn't disappointed in the bag itself. It looked like it was well made, until the strap came undone within 45 seconds of opening the package. Maybe I just have bad luck and received the ONLY cheaply made bag, otherwise...I would steer clear especially for $60 bones.

Quality backpack, aerodynamic design, feels good on my back. Just the bag needed if you carry a little, want to look cool, and rock the freeways and a 100+. Forgot to say that I live in CA for 6 mos of the year and have been able to rock the 101.

With the riding season in full swing, I needed a lightweight, purpose-built motorcycle backpack for my commute to work to replace my tattered, standard, cheap backpack.I first tried this MotoCentric Mototrek Backpack before ultimately deciding on its larger sibling the MotoCentric Centrek Backpack. (Read my review: MotoCentric Centrek Backpack - --/Black). Though an excellent backpack as I describe below, it was simply too small for my needs. It may be perfect for yours. The build material is excellent. It keeps its form nicely and looks great. The chest and torso straps are brilliant and all straps have elastic rings to keep excess strap from fluttering in the wind. The bag also very easily slips on and off with full gear on. The sleek shape and slippery material keep contents dry in light rain. The size, however, is quite small. My laptop is on the large side of the 15" spectrum being a DELL E6510 (14.74"W x 1.3"H x 9.97"D) with a 15.6" wide screen and it just barely fits in the laptop pocket. The zipper still comfortably closes without snagging, but half an inch longer could be troublesome. Any thicker or wider and it wouldn't slip into the sleeve at all. With the laptop in place, there is still room for a pair of jeans and shirt, gloves, cell phone and wallet, all while still allowing the helmet bag to just barely clip on with my medium-sized GMax 68S helmet. This helmet is somewhat larger than most with the multiple vents, exhaust vents and rear LED light assembly.I cannot, however, fit my S&S Mesh jacket with full padding into the bag without mashing it in and tugging on the zippers. A jacket without padding should fold up and fit nicely. Even a leather jacket should fit, though a bit tightly. But when fully stuffed, the helmet bag won't clip in place. For me, I had to choose: Jacket alone and carry my laptop and helmet into the office or laptop and helmet in the bag and wear the jacket in.The side pockets are excellent. Like the shell of the bag itself, they're semi-rigid and will hold a pair of sunglasses on one side and a brake lock on the other. There are only these three compartments (along with a cellphone/iPod slot). This leaves it a bit lacking if you have a full bag and need quick access to something without digging through the main compartment. So if you just need a quick weekend bag or daily commute, it's a great bag. But if you have a full set of gear AND a laptop AND a helmet to clip, you will want to go with the slightly larger bag, the Centrek (MotoCentric Centrek Backpack - --/Black).

This pack is well designed, I have had it for over a year and it is not showing any wear and tear. The deciding factor for me getting this pack was the helmet holder and honestly i don't ever use it like i thought i would. The construction of this bag is heavy duty and is pretty aerodynamic. It's a great bag, I like it a lot but not quite 5 stars.

Sweet backpack. Very good quality. I am glad I got the small one. It is bigger than it appears in the image.

The side straps for the helmet bag were sewn poorly and came apart on both sides before I even put my helmet in. Two small bungy cords I had made it still work but poor craftmanship, the pack part seems very good though.

Bought this backpack about 2 weeks ago, absolutely love it so far. Fits laptop, phone, gear and whatever i need to bring along. Doesn't quite fit my riding jacket which has shoulder/elbow armor however i am not surprised by that. Also has a convenient helmet attachment.

Great quality and price, this is a very resistant backpack, very comfortable , has great features. The feature that I most use is the one to hold the helmet, it works great and very easy to handle. This is the smallest of them, I can just put my 13" notebook tightly.

I spend many times browse a motorcycle backpack that meets most bikers (simple) need; waterproof and comfort in riding.after wear it for about a month and two, I realizes that this backpack is very comfort, thanks to its simple design. Another plus side is aerodynamic of its shape, its really help if you ride in medium-high speed. My office Collages says its also have a great look, to most people but me, I think the look is essential. The helmet carrier mechanism work great to to hold your additional helmet on a trip.Cons: its not really waterproof, in heavy rain, I'm finding that there's a leak from the bottom part (I think near of its helmet carrier housing) of this backpack that quickly spread to other spot, includes notebook compartment. In small - medium rain however, there's no leak that I can find.

This backpack works great for riding. If anything, it might be a little small, it seems to fill up rather quickly, so you might want to go with the larger one if you're concerned. But it'll easily hold an extra visor and a jacket and a packed lunch. It doesnt look like it's shown in the main picture, but there's a chest strap that goes between the two main straps that snaps them together that I really like. and all the adjustable straps have elastic to keep the extra strap length from flying around and whipping you.Overall, a great backpack; I'm very happy with it.
