I work 30 miles from home and commute every day, rain or shine. I have a backpack where I keep my rain suit, lunchbox, some tools, phone, dry clothes, and other gear that I need at work and at home. This bag allows me to pack up my backpack and then simply shove it into the bag, and I'm off. Then I can just pull the backpack out when I arrive. No more packing, and unpacking the backpack at each end of the trip, like I used to. The Saddlemen bag is strong, great looking, and keeps it's shape. It mounts easily and firmly, and is easy to remove and take with you, if you want, as it includes backpack straps, etc. There is even a carrying strap on top of the bag.The waterproof cover that is supplied will 'help' if you are caught in the rain, but will not be of much use if you leave it sitting out in the rain as I do. I simply place a plastic garbage bag over the bag, then secure it with the rain cover. This keeps the bag totally waterproof, whether sitting, or riding in the rain, and I get rain almost every day here in 'Sunny Florida'.There are plenty of storage pockets with lots of room, that are quite convenient to use.The best feature of this bag, is that it opens from the sides. Each end of the bag opens up using strong zippers and allows full access to the interior from either side. It also includes a shelf which can be adjusted as you like, or you can remove it, as I do, to allow full use of the space. There are webbed pockets, 2 with zippers and 2 without, located on the inside of each end flap, that allow easy access to accessories. I carry a small spray bottle and micro-fiber washcloth for keeping my visor clean, the plastic garbage bag and the rain cover, riding gloves, etc., all at easy reach.It also includes the roll bag, for even more storage, but I haven't used it yet. I still feel that I got a great deal on this bag.All in all, I think this is the perfect bag for me.In case you are wondering, I ride a Yamaha 250 Virago, with a small/short sissy bar and luggage rack, and I was concerned that this bag would be too big, or would not fit properly, but this bag fits fine by setting the sissy bar adjustment to the innermost settings and using 2 of the straps that came with it. Very sturdy and well supported.Saddlemen bags are very well made and I think this will last a long time.I love this bag.

This is a good sturdy product. Although it is a vinyl construction it does seem very solid. It is a little strange with side openings not top openings but this will just mean learning how to pack. It does make it bloody easy to get things out as you need them when riding. Lots of pockets to put often needed items and over all I am a happy chappy.

We purchased this manufactured goods early Amazon without a conundrum. The manufactured goods came to us surrounded by the calculate frame promised and in splendid affect up. The bag has alot of pockets and holds bounty of bits and pieces.On Gravestone Weekend, we took a dirt bike trip to Branson, Mo. We throng over 1200 including the Sissy Wedge Bag emotionally caught up. Surrounded by 600 miles the bag had ripped made known everywhere you deposit the wedge owing to to call it on the sissy wedge.My partner and I are exceptionally disappointed including the feature of the EX2200. We currently wished we had bought a uncommon bag to deposit on the in trade of the Harley.

Just got back from my first trip where I used this bag. I mounted it facing forward on the passenger seat. The bag's mounting system works great. It was rock solid. I love the side access to the bag and that was my main reason for purchasing it. The first design defect is that none of the pouch straps are quick release. They look good but it's a real pain to get into the outer pouches. Another problem is that the wind catches the side pouch flaps, stretching and pulling on them. I tried a bit of Velcro but the adhesive backing pulled loose. It should be a simple fix. The rain cover went on well and strapped in place, but after two hours on the interstate, one of the rain cover straps had torn the rain cover at the seam.
